WHAT'S NEW ON THE COURCHEVEL SLOPES Winter 2024/2025

Have you been waiting impatiently for this reopening? So are we, and we're looking forward to what promises to be an epic ascent!

So what's new? Cabins of the future, of course! Gone are the days of Plexiglas, scratched by the edges of skis and tarnished by the sun and the seasons. Laminated glass, extending almost all the way to the floor and all the way around the cabins, will give you complete transparency and an unparalleled panoramic experience! It's an impressive journey, but one that's ideal for enjoying the scenery and the view of all the peaks that appear as you climb: Mont Blanc, Grande Casse, even the Matterhorn peaking over the summit on clear days.

The other modern touch is the modularity adapted to the different seasons and mountain practices. In summer, large benches will be installed so that pedestrians can admire the view in greater comfort. In winter, these benches will be replaced by bars to accommodate the heavy use of this emblematic aerial tramway, allowing passengers to rest their skis and snowboards in complete safety during the ascent.

The original structure of the Saulire aerial tramway has remained unchanged, firstly to maintain the smooth flow of skier traffic, and secondly to preserve the emblematic arrival at the summit, with its unparalleled, breathtaking views.

It's no legend that Courchevel is the ideal resort for beginners of all ages. The resort has made the most of its advantageous topography, using the large flat areas to create beginner zones. These areas have been demarcated, closed and secured to avoid the flow of skiers, and are served by specific, free lifts adapted for this initiation. 8 beginners' areas are available in Courchevel, one in each village, making it certainly the best equipped resort in terms of beginners' areas. So there's no excuse not to try your hand at snow sports!

This winter, for even greater comfort and so that you can start skiing from the village in which you live, two new carpets have been inaugurated. On the Golf beginners' area, the 3 carpets have been replaced by 2. You no longer need to mentally prepare 3 times to get off the carpet and be able to make a nice snowplough descent, as the first carpet already takes you high enough to make your first turns. Le Praz also welcomes back its Envolée carpet, a facility that will enable you to make your first slides right next to your accommodation!

Courchevel's Family Park is unquestionably THE park for children, teenagers and their parents, offering a whole range of fun modules for everyone: boardercross, jumps from XS to XL, boxs or rails...

This winter, thanks to the extension of the boardercross, the descent is even longer and more exciting! Upswept turns where you can go inside to overtake your rivals, whoop zones where technical skill and weight are your trump cards, or speed zones where you'll have to let your horses loose ... with the extension of this boardercross, everything can come down to the last part!

Over the past 3 years, new nests have sprung up on 3 summits! After the Nid du Col de la Loze and the Nid de la Saulire, it's time for a wild, off-center nest with a view we love...

Welcome to the Nid des Avals! On the eastern edge of Courchevel's ski area, in the sunny Moriond sector - aptly named - you'll find a cosy wooden nest, ideal for contemplative breaks or romantic picnics, at the arrival of the vintage double ski lift.

Times are changing, and so is the offer for families. The very popular Family Pass (2 parents + 2 children) becomes the Family Flex, open to 3 people or more - 1 to 2 Adults + 1 to 6 Juniors 5/-18 years - for 5 days or more.

Single-parent families, traditional families, blended families, families with one or more children, everyone skis at the Junior rate and benefits from a bonus day with the “6 days for the price of 5” offer.

After studying the number of passages per Skiflex season pass, the offer has been adapted for this winter 2024-2025. You now benefit from 10 passages per week (compared with 20 on the old formula), for a lower price of 375€ / person.

Beyond the 10-passage threshold, charge €12 per additional pass.

The Les 3 Vallées application has been given a makeover, becoming your new pocket companion to make your skiing days in the 3 Vallées as easy as possible.

Optimised functions :

• Real-time opening and closing of ski lifts, pistes and webcams
• Restaurant listings and the ability to book directly from the app
• A ‘rescue’ function, putting you in touch with the relevant services in the event of an accident or to help other skiers
• Buy or top up your ski passes in just a few clicks
