3 Valleys ski pass FAQ: everything you need to know

Why opt for a 3 Vallées ski pass in winter?

It opens the doors to the world’s largest interconnected ski area, linking seven resorts: Courchevel, Méribel, Val Thorens, Les Menuires, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Orelle and Brides-les-Bains.

With over 600 kilometers of interconnected slopes, you’ll enjoy a vast and fully connected playground suitable for all skill levels.

Why buy your 3 Vallées ski pass online?

By booking directly on the website, you can skip the queues at the ticket office when you arrive at the resort.

You can also take advantage of a 20% discount on the Les 3 Vallées day pass on Saturdays (offer valid for purchases made until Friday at 11:59 p.m.).

Once you’re there, there’s no need to visit the ticket desk—your pass is automatically activated the first time you go through the lift gates, so you can start skiing right away.

Finally, you benefit from free cancellation up until the day before your first day on the slopes.

Where can I collect my ski passes in the resort?

You can pick up your ski pass at one of our ticket machines:

  • Bozel pick-up kiosk: next to the tourist office.

  • La Tania Pick-up kiosk: next to the ski lockers and La Tania sales outlet.

  • Le Praz Pick-up kiosk: in the Alpinium building.

  • Courchevel 1850 Pick-up kiosks: in the Croisette building.

  • Village Pick-up kiosks: at the bottom of the Grangettes cable car.

  • Moriond Pick-up kiosks: in "Maison de Moriond", next to the sales outlet.

Is it possible to get a refund for an unused ski pass?

A refund can be granted provided the request is made at least 24 hours before the pass becomes valid. After this deadline, no refunds will be issued.

For any questions or assistance, our team is available 7 days a week throughout the season at the following address: backoffice@s3v.com

Is it possible to buy with digital ‘chèques vacances’?

Yes, it is possible to buy for all or part of your ski passes with digital chèques vacances.

Can you lend your 3 Valleys Ski Pass?

The 3 Vallées Ski Pass is personal and cannot be shared. Lending, renting, or reselling it is strictly prohibited, and checks may be carried out at the resort.

Any fraudulent use can result in penalties. To enjoy a hassle-free day on the slopes, make sure to choose a pass that matches your age and skiing level.

Why take out insurance "carré neige" for your Ski Pass ?

The insurance covers, in particular:

  • Rescue costs: If you are assisted by ski patrol on the slopes of the 3 Valleys, the Carré Neige insurance covers the expenses, which can be significant (over €620 on average).

  • Ski pass reimbursement: If illness or an accident forces you to cut your vacation short, the insurance allows you to recover part of your unused ski pass. The same applies to unused ski lessons.

Taking out a Carré Neige insurance policy gives you peace of mind, allowing you to fully enjoy your stay. More information is available on the Carré Neige website.

What happens if the ski lifts close due to weather conditions?

If the ski lifts are closed, the procedure depends on the type of pass you hold. One general rule applies: if the closure lasts more than 5 consecutive hours and affects at least 80% of the lifts included in your multi-day pass (outside the low season), a refund or compensation may be offered. For full details, available options, and the terms related to refunds or insurance, please refer to our general terms and conditions of sale.
