What's new on the slopes of Courchevel for winter 2026-2027

New on the ski lifts

The Tania gondola is having a makeover

Thirty-five years after its first winter season, the La Tania bubble lift will have a new look this year and provide a much more comfortable ride. The old cabins with their uncomfortable perches will be gone, replaced by 52 new 8-seater cabins to enable you to sit down and enjoy the ride! Wider doors, comfortable bench seating, panoramic views and dedicated places for skis and snowboards… We’ve designed everything to make each journey a more pleasant experience.

But it isn’t just the cabins themselves that are updated. The stations and equipment have been modernised, upgrading users to a smoother, more agreeable ride. Skiers and pedestrians alike can link up with the slopes of Courchevel and the 3 Valleys in the best possible conditions.

New spots to relax across the ski area

At the summit of Chenus: a brand-new panoramic terrace

Ready to reach new heights? From this winter, the summit of Chenus gondola will be THE new spot to take a break in the mountains! From the 300m² wooden terrace, skiers and pedestrians can admire an exceptional vista overlooking Saulire and the surrounding peaks.

Installed a comfortable spot in the sunshine, all you need to do is enjoy the landscape! Seating, relaxation spaces and uninterrupted views: everything combines to transform a simple relaxation break into a genuine moment of pleasure in the mountains.

This new terrace is situated just outside the new picnic room which opened last winter. Enjoy the sunshine, meet up with friends, or just stop and admire the view: make the most of the Chenus in your own style.

A not-to-be-missed destination with the mountain peaks as your backdrop.

Spot our new snowflakes

Do you recall seeing the new snowflake last winter at the top of La Saulire? This winter, we reveal two more! Find them at the top of Signal and Col de la Loze, two perfect destinations to have a rest, take a few photos and make the most of the scenery.

Complete your collection of snowflakes as you explore the 3 Valleys!

New in the ‘Les 3 Vallées’ app

Discover a new app feature

This winter, the app ‘Les 3 Vallées’ will include a new “Itineraries” feature to help you explore the ski area even more easily. Decide where you want to go and the app will show you the way!

A mountain restaurant, meeting point, or to discover new pistes or areas: simply select your destination and follow the instructions. The itinerary adapts to your level and the conditions in the resort in real time, taking into account only ski lifts and runs that are open.

No need to unfold your paper map or spend hours route planning.

  • Fancy going to your favourite restaurant?

  • Need to meet up with friends/family?

  • Want to explore a new sector of the ski area?

Choose your destination and off you go! The app accompanies you throughout the day to help you make the most of the 600km of ski slopes in the 3 Valleys, without wasting time or getting lost.

Download the 3 Vallées app and test the new feature this winter!

New in the 3 Valleys

In Méribel-Mottaret

The Plattières Gondola

Plattières gondola will be decked in new colours this winter! In collaboration with the artist Lucas Beaufort, several cabins will be sporting exclusive graphics, inspired by the mountain and the world of winter sports. An original way to rediscover this iconic 3 Valleys lift whilst paying homage to the old bubbles which made a lasting impression on skiers with their personalised designs. Your journey transforms into an artistic interlude at the heart of the mountains.

In Méribel Centre

The Rhodos Gondola

The refurbishment of Rhodos concludes with the renovated arrival station. New façades, platforms, toilet facilities and a dedicated space for ski schools complete the improvements already made to the stations, the technical infrastructure and the bubble lifts.

The final step to a more practical and comfortable ski lift experience in Méribel!

In Les Menuires

La Montagnette and Pixel Area

The Montagnette zone and Pixel Area are evolving this winter with new features designed for fun and games in the snow.

Challenges, descents and shared moments: there’s plenty of opportunity for fun with family and friends to add an extra sparkle to your day on the slopes.
