COL DE LA LOZE & THE "ROCHER" DE LA LOZE
Open-air walk and panoramic views departing from Courchevel
The walk up to the Col de La Loze is easy and accessible. Up there, enjoy the panorama, share the space with cyclists completing their ascent, or paragliders taking off... Any energy left? Take the hike to the top of Rocher de la Loze: a sublime little path, full of flowers and colors, leads you up to this rock at an altitude of 2526m: here, with a little breeze in your hair and these wide-open spaces as far as the eye can see on the surrounding peaks, it's the feeling of freedom that intoxicates us.
From Saulire to the Col du Fruit, by the large ridge
An aerial hike, perfect for filling up on fresh air and sublime scenery!
From the summit of La Saulire, follow the crests of the fruit to the pass of the same name, before descending to Lac de Tueda. Breathtaking views await you at the summit of La Saulire, before you reach its little sister, La Petite Saulire. Then continue along the ridge line, admiring the valley, the surrounding peaks and the Gebroulaz glacier. Once you've reached the Col du Fruit, start the descent to the Plagne plateau: the perfect place to admire the marmots. Continue along the trail to the Tueda reserve and its lake full of colorful trout, and finish at Mottaret. You've come full circle!

THE VIA FERRATA FROM "LA CROIX DES VERDONS"
The vertiginous high-mountain escapade between Courchevel and Méribel
With its 800m length and 225m vertical drop, this via ferrata should be on your mountain vacation to-do list if you're not afraid of heights! Although the climb is relatively demanding, it's well worth it: up there, at an altitude of 2739m, the lunar scenery formed by the rocks is splendid, as is the view over the valley. Clearly worth the effort.
Progress is made using a 1km safety cable and 650 rungs in a dolomitic atmosphere. The route skirts ledges, benches and rocky overhangs until it reaches the Pointe du Curé, then a lookout point overlooking the glaciers and peaks of the Vanoise, Mont Blanc and the Écrins.
D+ level. Appropriate equipment essential!
