Le Col de la Loze
You've probably already heard of it: Le Col de la Loze is now one of the Tour de France's legendary finishes. Why we love it: the route is reserved exclusively for bikes and winds through the mountain pastures.
After a first stop at the Ferme de Pralong to sample some farm produce - Beaufort 'alpage, charcuterie, jams...), cross the alpine pastures to the sound of our tarines' bells. The track rises after a few hairpin bends and the environment becomes more mineral before reaching Lac Bleu, just before the final stretch. The view at the finish is breathtaking: Vanoise glaciers, Grande Casse, Grand Bec and Mont Blanc.
The Avals Valley – Courchevel
This unique route offers two very different atmospheres: one through the pastoral alpine meadows of Courchevel, the other wilder, leading into a secret valley on the edge of the Vanoise National Park.
You’ll start on a scenic mountain track climbing to the Col de la Platta (2,408 m). From there, you drop into the wilder side of the mountain — a peaceful valley with flat spots perfect for a picnic, and a few traditional alpine farms along the way.
