The Col de la Loze, the place to be. The promise of this plateau summit: soothing views, paragliding flights, panoramic views over the 2 valleys of Courchevel and Méribel and the villages in front of you. The best time to go? Late afternoon, as the sun slowly begins to set behind the peaks of the Vallée des Belleville... And imagine yourself as the finish line of the Tour de France, on your bike! Yes, this pass hosted a Tour de France finish in the summer of 2020, one of the most complex stages according to the riders. In short, the best place to enjoy a 5-star sunset before heading back to the warmth of the slopes and letting the groomers work the slopes for another day of skiing on freshly groomed snow!
NEW: make the most of the brand new break chalet, Le Nid de la Loze, on the blue slope of the Col de la Loze on the way to Courchevel. A cosy teepee, where you can sunbathe on the wooden deckchairs and enjoy the view in warm surroundings!
Access: via the Dou des Lanches chairlift, in the La Tania sector
With a view of the emblematic mountain that overlooks Courchevel, the Aiguille du Fruit, the view here is breathtaking: everything is white, the summit in front of us is colossal and the 360° view of the surrounding glaciers is unique. This is the place to take THE souvenir photo if you're ever in Courchevel, to say "I was there"! Up there, you'll have plenty of time to take a photo of yourself in front of Orlinski's monumental work: a kong América, a polar bear or something else - it'll be a big surprise!
Access: via the Vizelle gondola, the Suisse chairlift or the Marmottes chairlift.
At the top of the FREERIDE LAB in the Creux Noirs sector, after your ascent on ski touring skis and before your first turns in the powder on one of our secure slopes or on the steeper slopes for off-piste adventurers, take the time to look around yourself and open your eyes wide... There's a whole parade of the most beautiful peaks in the Alps for you to contemplate here! From the imposing Mont Blanc to the Aiguilles des Écrins, a mineral and luminous atmosphere awaits you!
Access: take the Vizelle cable car - then follow the signs for Méribel Mottaret and start climbing at the big FREERIDE LAB entrance signs.
